Other than ebay, are there any online dealers for shindaiwa and redmax??? Looking to purchase more trimmers and blowers and am sort of tired of my local guy. No tax, often lower prices on the web so.....anybody got any links????:)

Be aware that many companies will not honor warranties for equipment purchased over the web. Ask before you buy. You may find yourself buying a piece of equipment over the web and your local dealer won't touch it.

True, but I've never exercised my warranties for any "handheld" equipment, not worth the time, etc...

So why not get Echo from Home Depot since they are easy to work on ....and easy to get parts since they don't change much.

Thanks mowpart, I'll give you a call.

Hess- I like the redmax and shindy stuff because its good soplid commercial grade equipment unlike that home depot sh%*. I just never take my handheld stuff back to the dealer. I believe if I maintain it well, I shouldn't need to worry much about the breakdowns.
