I love my exmark mowers and would love to get a 52 hydro that can fit though 36 inch gates as I can not justify every buying a 36 in fact I hate my 48 its to small I prefer my 60 inch Lazer. How ever I do have some back yards that even the 48 can not fit in iv seen Great Dane has such a model but the feed back on their forum does not exactly inspire confidence and I would prefer to get such a machine from a company iv grown to love and trust I have probably 2000 hours of my life sitting on one of your lazer seats.

    Kelly,

This is one we've bounced from time to time however it is still undecided if we will pursue this or several other projects at this time.

I'll forward your comments to the product design group and see what I can find out.

    Thanks

    Terry

Sorry about the double posting for whatever reason the site wasn’t acknowledging my question in fact I thought I had not even sent my question, as I never saw the completion of the new thread possess. Imagine my surprise to see some one asked the question I wanted to ask only to realize it was in fact me. Well thanks for your reply I do hope you get on them as I think the product is really needed in my area.

    Kelly,

Don't worry about the double post. It happens all the time.......usually I catch it though and can delete one. Sorry I missed that one.

    Thanks

How about this. Its a 36" hydro with an additional 18" added to it's cutting width with a "Flex Deck". The extra deck fold up 90 degrees or comes completely off easily. Exmark Probably won't endorse it's use because it wasn't their idea or something. (This was discussed here awhile back) It does work well. (I have used one) Search Lawnsite for flex deck or go to www.flex_deck.com. I will probably be adding one to my mower in the future.

I didn’t like how that add on sticks forward as much as it does I looked at that site early last spring but decided against it I would like exmark to design a more durable machine but doesn’t look to good for this season or they would of said something.

The out front design of the flex deck is part of what makes it great for trimming in and around and under obsticles. I saw a couple in person last spring and the mounting is very strong. and the machine still drive very smoothly.
