Any recommendations for 'Dental Plans'?

    Im set on health insurance, but any ideas for dental insurance??? Im having a root canal this morning with an out of pocket expense of 900$.

    Well, I can at least offer this if you don't have anything and are looking for something very affordable.

    Do a look up on a Dental coverage called AmeriPlan. They are flooded ALL over the internet. It's not an insurance, but it is a discount coverage. You will save 30% - 50% off all services up to 80% off on others. The cost is $20/month for family coverage.

    It at the very worst would have discounted your $900 down to $450-$550, maybe more. Yes it's not insurance, but it helps somewhat, when you do actually need it.

    Dental coverage is not cheap. I pay $80 per month for me, spouse and child. This is the plan I got from the navy when i retired. If you find anyplace less expensive let us know.
