a tow behind aerator on the front of a atv, I was pulling mine yesterday, going over sidewalks...getting off, raising, lowing etc... I was thinking it would be handy to have that thing on the front, to work of the winch, but it would have to have braces on it to go strait and not swivel ( kind of work like the JRCO front mount hooker aerator), I wouldn't think it would be any harder on the atv that pushing snow...

It may be easier to put a 12 volt electric actuator on the rear mount and lift it from its own frame. Years ago we rigged some units like you are saying on a brand name tractor. The frames failed on all of them as they were not designed for a front load only a rear load. When you go out of the mfgs specs and testing range you may be in for trouble for the long run. Without testing no one knows for sure.
