anybody use garlic juice...

    for mosquito control? i have heard it works well. any suggestions on where to get it or effectiveness?

    what about mole products?

    anyone try bradfields horticultural vinegar? opinions?

    can't wait to put down this gypsum to granularize the clay soil i'm working with. how many applications does it take?

    Do a search for Mosqito Barrier on here...There were a lot of threads about it's effectiveness (good I think).

    I have used them and they do work. A few things you have to be aware of; It just burns the leaves of the plant down and it does not kill the roots, It works best when the plant you want to control is in the sun and it is warm out, it is expensive payup and the dilution rate of the product doesn't get you very far.

    Gypsum applications take a while to get your soil in check, maybe 3 years. That is applying 15-20 lbs per 1,000 sq ft a year. I would recommend maybe using compost to help better your soils. You will see better results in a shorter period of time.

    We used granulated garlic, and the only thing it did was tick off the neighbors.
