you know, like drop a 20 in the yard and see if you give it back or over pay for the month and see if you give them a credit? i've had a customer overpay by a months worth of cuttings. dont know if it was a mistake or not but i gave them credit. has anyone had a customer test them? if so, what did they do? thanks.

I guess if a customer dropped a 20 in the yard to test somebody, they'd be out picking up 100s after the mowing crew left. 100s of little pieces of a 20.

    Actually, yes.

Happened about a 100 years ago, or so it seems.

Job involved power raking front and back lawn. Back yard had a good size area that was bare dirt. So, of course that area was skipped, but there was a cracker sitting in the middle of the dirt area! Customer calls later and thinks the job wasn't done. I tell him, yeah, I saw the cracker, figured you were feeding birds.

    He cracked up laughing.
