Hey everyone I have done it before but just can not remember how I did it. I am trying to make the background tranparent on a file. To use for mile navigation buttons on our website.

I have uploaded a picure of the file I want to use.

Want I am trying to do is make the leaf that is used as a comma in our logo between the N and S and use it for the buttons on our navigation bar. So to do this I would need to make the background transparent.

Does anyone know how to do this.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to edit with some sort of photoshop program and then use the edit feature and then "set the image to the back" or "move the image to the back".

I know how it should work on what I have, We have gif files without the background like in the attached file. But when I cut the leaf from the file and paste it on a separate project it keeps adding a white background to it. Even though it didn't have one to begin with.
