Just Curious. My old company (former partnership) is shut down today. Thats 12-K worth of revenue they will have to make up this month for the work missed today. Its very strange in PHX today, the gas station was not packed this morning, very few maint rigs on the road. In fact very few construction or delivery trucks either, traffic was very light. I stopped at the Mc Donalds and they had different people working and fewer of them. I think the turn out will be higher than the 100-K they are expecting at the march. No problems in my company only two Hispanics one didn't show up, no big deal he may get a few more days off.

That's because you're in Connecticut and he's in Phoenix. The ratio of hispanics is greater there.

Oh no doubt about that.... but we have our share especially in the cities of Hartford, Meriden, and New Haven. Meriden is about 25% Hispanic

Middletown work mostly in Meriden though. Didnt notice anything here but i guess there is a protest starting around 5 pm in new haven. They must have decided to work first  or they want to annoy everyone who just got home and wants to relax.

im not against others so to speak, but come on, hispanic march?? isnt it bad enough that we have to listen to it every time we call the telephone co. or even our state office?? we are in the U.S.A .. i have been out of the U.S many times, and not once did they try to speak my language or cater to others, so why are we? sorry all, but i just had a bad day, and i cant get over that fact that people come to the U.S and think that we should change everything for them... like i said , would they do it for us if we go to their country??? NO NO NO......
