I was wondering if any of you used an ATV for overseeding?

It's kind of useless on smaller lawns, but I think it would be nice to use on the larger ones.

If so? what spreader are you using or would you recommend?

Good question...off topic..hijacking the thread...Is it possible to modify a Lesco spreader to serve as a pull behind spreader? For behind your ATV?
Naturally if you pulled it backwards you must reverse the impeller spin--in my opinion. However that is not hard; I have done it accidentally, you simply install the axle backwards when rebuilding it.

Probably it is simpler to pull it forwards. You would have to attach a "trailer hitch" made of conduit to the two side tubes under the hopper. You could use the hopper bolts if you got longer bolts. Perhaps you would need a couple screw clamps to further stabilize the two tubes. Then you would naturally need a long pole made from PVC pipe attached to the open lever, to open and close the hopper.
