Anyone considered one of the Pondless waterfall installs? I;ve thought about it in our front yard and a few other places that have hills becasue you dont have to worry about people messing with it and drowning.

I have had two clients request one, but never installed on either.

I couldnt find a way to make a collection area for the water if the power shuts off. All the water that is normaly in the process of falling would then have to have somewhere to collect. It could drain into the waste drain.

The other problem is that durring the summer when water is evaporating from the pond there would have to be an autofill to maintain water level - the lack of a water stock would make the percentage change much greater than if you had a 300 gallon stock.

The collection area would be the 4x6 area filled with gravel.
The auto fill fits into the center tube. (don't know what it's called)

The "snorkel" is the center pipe, the "centipede" is the base pipe.

We have constructed two pond less water falls and think we will be doing alot more in the future. If you have questions email me and can give you the low down. One system we did is a 40 foot run under a limestone bridge into the retention area with the other a 45 foot run on a 12 foot drop going through two different channels.
