Are my prices high, low, or right on. There is 5-10 different lawn care services in my area, and there is plenty of work (especially dethatching :hammerhead:) to go around.

$35 - 30 min of work - mow (bagging), trim, and blow.
$75 - around 1:00 of work - cleanup, mow, etc.
$100 - 1:30+ of work - dethatch (and dethatch cleanup), mow, and minor cleanup.

so you are about 25 per hour per man..that might be alittle low but that might be what people in that city pay , try to see what other charge around you..

Labor costs for 30 minutes is atleast $20, correct? Sounds too low to make a profit. In my area, with 3 guys, a 30 minute job must bring $75 min. We shoot for $60man/hr, but sometimes come up a short. Obviously your market could be different.

If you are getting every job you bid, the answer is that you are too low.
