are these a picture of sod web worms?

    from the pic I would say yes, but I would need a closeup to say for sure, I had quite a few issues with webworms this spring, they do some nasty damage to lawns in April-May but I hit them with Talstar and by July the lawns look good as new, they do have 2nd and 3rd generations in a season but by my experiences not as bad of damage as in the spring, bluegrass recovers from webworm damage very well in my area

    they also leave a white webbing in the thatch layer that looks to be present in your pic

    We arwe having a BAD season for these around here.

    Oh!.....Yes,..they are. Carbaryl....otherwise known as Sevin. 2.2 to 2.5 lbs. per M.

    will dylox, aplied granular @ 5 lbs per k kill them?
