getting ready to move from the midwest to az. I'm not sure how landscape in the desert. I know roses, vinca, blood grass, and geraniums do well there. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

What type of application are you looking for? Native (eg: xeriscape?) or more lush like the midwest?

More lush like the midwest. I noticed today that grapes grow in AZ. Thanks for your thoughts.

Depends on what part of AZ you're moving to. Down here in Tucson we have desert landscaping: lots of rocks, cactus, mesquite and palo verde trees, etc. Very little grass-sometimes folks have small lawns in their backyards. Hope this helps you.

Hey Leo have you made the transition? What part of AZ did you move to? For grass, most use Bobsod, plan on desert landscaping for the front in new homes and closer to lush for established neighborhoods. If you move to the Phx area, let us know what section.
