Ok i guess i read the graph wrong. I am going to my supplier to order me a few. Muchos gracias.
Next question now cause we see that the pgp sucks ass..
is there a 24V PRV that can be installed to remedy?
Replacing 3 gear stripped pgps today. Its always the same sad story. Ran across a 20 year old t-bird the other day. They just dont make them like they used to
Amen, brother. We've got one site that has T-Birds that old with minimum problems. That was a cool head with the multiple nozzle turrets.
The 5000 series will retro into a T-Bird body.
If it was so good why did they redesign twice and then scrap it? I would rather use an r-50 then a t-bird.
Amen!!!! (shouts the non-believer)

I never liked either one. The t-bird's screw on turret caused adjustment issues and the r-50 had retraction problems.
I did not know that. Rain Bird engineers just might have their sh!t together.
The sad thing about the R-50 retraction problem is that it points out that the wiper seal is not replaceable.
That means all the R-50's will eventually fail to retract, and the Sprinkler Head Marathon award goes to the Safe-T-Lawn ball-drive-rotor.
