Im building an Alan Scott oven right now.

I will post some pics as soon as I finish.

Is that kit, or did you make it?

I bought a kit from forno bravo but don't recommend it. They tried to charge me 800 more after i purchased the kit online. I took over a month to get it and I ran out of the heat mortar and bricks. Now that I know what I need I will buy materials from local suppliers. pizza oven 020.jpg

Is it your oven, or for a customer?

For insulation, mix either Vermiculite with concrete, or Perlite with concrete, Just enough concrete to hold it together. It makes great insulation.

I cant recall how much morter i used, few bags maybe.
