    P/j,

I have a problem with the linkage used to dump the vac unit. I have 260 hours on my Super Z and all the joints in the linkage are worn enough now that the door won't stay shut. Seeing as how there were no adjustments built into the linkage. What were Hustlers plans to correct this problem when the time came? The best way would be to put on electric cyclinders to open and close and do away with the manual handle and linkage.

    Thanks for your help.........

Got a pic you can send me ?, I have not heard of this problem, we have had this catcher out from about 1995, and I have not seen what your describing.
I will forward this to our service guys for some input.

    Thanks
    Pj

    Pj,

The linkage has an over center lock built in so it stays closed. With the wear to all the pivot points there is no more over center feature. A picture will not show anything.

    P/j,

I fixed my problem. Just like New. Next step is to add an electric door opener to elimanate the linkage.
