I am looking to buy a back rack or cab protector for my truck (99' ford ranger). Here are my questions:

    1. Do I have to drill into the truck?
    2. Can I remove it in the winter ( I put a truck cap on in the winter)?

    Thanks for any replies!

no drilling mounts through the stake pocket holes in the truck bed. easyly installed and easily removed. Picture is on an F-350 chevy/gmc is a little different.

Thanks for the info! Do those black brackets remove? I think they would interfere with the truck cap.

yea the black plate just lays on there nothing holds it down. the bolts are just L shaped that is threaded on each end. Get it you will like it, mine has saved me and comes in handy with straping stuff down or just keeping crap off the window.
