In August of 2003 I posted an inquiry about the Zoysia Species....I received so many great responses that I wanted to ask one more question.....Last season I had a 30 x 30 area of Centipede which was diseased etc, so I killed it, got rid of it, tilled the area, treated etc. I decided to go ahead with the "Zoysia experiment", I seeded it and it began to grow, but the season came to an end and it went dormant, but I can see it is still thriving......I'd like to throw down some more seed, but am unsure as to the proper time, constant ground temp, etc.....Anyone have any luck with seeding the Zoysia species?

Not now. Zoysia seed needs more warmth than you have now. Probably late April would be good.
