What size mower fits through most fence gates? Is it 36"?

Depends on most gates, I have gates my 52 will fit through and then there are some that my 36 will not. Just depends. But my 36 does fit through most gates.

It depends on the 36" as well. Those 36" Quicks are much wider then 36". With that said my 36 fits through most of the gates here.

I can fit my 36 stander through all the gates I have, but I have seen ones that only a 21 would fit like at my fathers house.

I took a 48" with a bagging system on the deck through gates before.

Ok, I'll have to take a look at fences around here and see I guess. Looks like 36" is the standard size.

    Thanks!

It really depends on the area. Where I am, 36" fits through most and a 32" fits through 98%. Some only a 21 can fit but that's rare.

A 36" usually fits through with the discharge chute tied up, or taken off.
A 32" deck will almost always fit through with chute in position.

I can get in most single gates with the chute up like it normally is. If I have the bagger on I have to take the chute off to get through.
