This thread has been discused only 200 times in the last month... -so maybe you should try the search option

The options are either the Stihl BR600 or the Redmax 8001, everybody will tell you different but those are the main two that are talked about on here, although I don't own either of them...

Read the specs on all the models and compare cfm through the pipe. That's the most important number if you are interested in power. imo

echo pb755 or redmax ebz8001 or stihl br600. Those are the most talked about and powerful on cfm.

I'm not sure that "best" and "most power" mean the same thing, so I'll assume what your really are asking for is the one with the most power. I don't have one, but I would say the Shindaiwa EB8510, and that opinion is the result of a lot of looking before I settled on something for myself that is very good but less than what the 8510 has to offer, a RedMax 7001. The specs on the 8510 include:

Dry weight* 24.5 lbs. (11.1 kg)
Displacement 4.86 cu. in. (79.7 cc)
    Output 4.5 hp (3.3 kW)
    Nozzle velocity 224 mph
Fuel tank capacity 67.6 oz. (2.0 liters)
    Noise rating 75 dB(A)
Air volume at nozzle 762 CFM
Air volume at housing 1349 CFM

Well, PLMaint seems to asking about the one with the most power. I like Stihll products too, but can the BR600 put out 4.5 HP, 224MPH and 762 CFM at the nozzle and 1349 CFM at the housing? I don't believe so.

Use the search and read the other 500 posts about this topic, then form your own opinion.

Having said that, I stand behind the Stihl BR600...

I don’t see why if the question asked is to identify the blower with the most power. The numbers for the Sthil BR 600 are:

4 HP, 201 MPH and 712 CFM at the nozzle, and 1012 CFM at the housing.

None of those compare favorably or even come close to matching the corresponding values provided for the Shindaiwa EB-8510. But there may be still other backpack blowers I'm not aware of with higher numbers than those provided for the EB-8510. But if so, it certainly isn't one shown on the Stihl web site.
