For just everyday grass clippings and debis we use Stihl BR400's and BR420's as they do fine and are lighter than our RedMax blowers, which we use in the Fall.

An Echo PB200 handheld blower is perfect for small patios and stoops. I have one that I use at my house and other props which do not require a backpack.

For small jobs I have the Echo PB-403 and it works great.

I only paid $299 for it!

I use my friends hh redmax blower on occasion. Pretty powerful and compact. It's around $210 after tax

For just grass clippings and light stuff the Stihl BR420C is a fine choice.

If you like the RedMax 8000 try the RedMax ebz4800 ot the eb4401 they are much smaller backpacks but cost a lot less. Don't expect a lot from these though. Once you have used the ebz8000, there is nothing like it in the world!
The most powerful of all manufacturers!!!!!!!
