    I use a Shindaiwa gas-powered backpack. http://www.rgs.com.au/plp/shindaiwa/sprayers.html

I replaced the wand with a variable-pattern pistol grip nozzle with an air-induction arrangement, which lets me go from a really intense fog to blasting a solid stream about 25' in the air, so there isn't much I can't effectively treat in a residential landscape. It is heavier than Hell when full, however (About 90 lbs) and tends to wear me out after a full day. Or maybe it's the 46 years........
Anyway, it has replaced the 35 and 50 gallon tank/hose rigs that we used to use, and it only takes 1 man to operate. It paid for itself in about 3 weeks.

I searched online but couldn't find a price for the Shindaiwa sprayer, what did it set you back?

It costs less than you can earn with it, and that's what's important.
