About 20% more than not bagging.

I have still been struggling with determining an easy way to charge for bagging. Usually the price I quote tries to figure how much more time it will take to bag, and thats a flat rate. Although lately I have been thinking of charging $5 per bag or $3 per customer can used, over the normal cut price. Even at those rates, it still seems cheap to me for whats involved, so I try to talk them into mulching as much as possible. Bagging on most of my lawns runs 20% - 50% more than mulching. I would charge more if I could for the pain in the rear that it is.

We charge more ($10 extra per acre) to bag but it is all included in the monthly payment. We only bag our commercial properties. We use a Hustler super z with the 3 bag system. picks up all litter and butts. Saves a lot of time picking up litter and blowing off debris.

It is already included in the maintenance price.

We usually charge $20 extra on a 1/4 acre lawn. These are the lawns that are 18" high. We don't bag for regular customers.
