I am the newly appointed Head Groundskeeper at a minor league ball field. And though i have much turf care experience at a top notch private golf course and a professional soccer stadium, i have never taken care of an infield before. Does anyone know of any good web sites, books, or postings that cover mound and infield care. I would like to come in next season with some knowledge not totally blind on it. Any help would be appreciated.

I would assume your infield is clay. These guys do some work for us and are very knowledgable. I hope this helps. If you have any direct questions, just ask. www.marcoclay.com

Send a PM with your number. I am just finishing up a contract maintaining about 30 little league/softball fields. I might have some good stuff for you.
