We have a Bobcat 218ES with 415 hours on it. Yesterday it would not restart after one of the tanks ran out of gas, all of the safety switches seem to be in good condition. We have had no problems with starting/running the mower until this happened on Saturday, my guess is the battery is dead.
Does anyone run this unit, and if so how long did your initial battery last? Thanks for all the help!

Battery life is going to depend on many things 1 is how good is your charging system Is it keeping the battery full charged and running all your other components If the charging system cant keep up the battery cant either. Storage is another big issue don’t leave your battery connected when storing don't let the charge in the batty run low and do not let freeze.
Vary rarely do batteries just die without worming signs get a moltimeater check the voltage in the batt should be 12+Volts than go through all the connections make sure every thing is tight and all the safety switches are working.
