OK, well I have another question. Does anyony know how to remove the bearings on the blade shaft for a Bobcat 48" Deck? I have tried a bearing tool from Craftsman and it bent it right away. Is this something that I should remove from the top of the deck? Thanks, Kevin

I'm not sure from your post whether you want to remove the ball bearings, or the entire spindle.

When the spindles wear out on my Bob-Cat, I just replace the entire spindle. You'll need a pulley puller first.

I've read that Bob-Cat spindles are mounted with lock-tite at the factory. If you heat the bolts, it should loosen the lock-tite.
