Beating a dead horse

    Having problems with stragglers with my metro. I'm mulching with 2 spacers above and below on both the casters and blades. I tightens the belt and sharpened the blades with no improvements.

    Also, thanks for the transmission post. My metro locked into 4th. on Monday. Thoughts of a new tranny went through my head until I took the tranny apart w/o removing it and fixed it. Lube problem.

    Fish,

    I'd probably try lowering the blade one more spacer and then raising the caster one spacer. Double check the engine rpms, belt tension etc. and let me know what the results are.

    Also what are the current cutting conditions and grass type your seeing the most issues with.
