Bed Edges

    what is the best way to get a definate edge in a existing bed..straight edge shovel..Some boys around the area use a edger like the lilwonder..i like to see the nice deeper cuts made by these..Is this hard to use ? any help .... thanks

    I use a trenchmasert to make my edges and it provides about a four inch
    deep cut. The rear wheels steer with the handle as you pull it. So it is
    relatively easy to use. Hope this helps.

    We use something similar and it works great, a nice neat edge.

    Dont take this the wrong way but....... There is a search button on the top of this page. I understand you are new here and just joined but there is more posts on this site about this then you have time to read. To answer your question, for cuttin in a new edge, I use a brown trencher, to maintain a existing one, a stick edger or basic hand tools.

    I use a Turfco bed edger. It works wonderful on existing beds. If the distance on the bed isn't that long, a spade works well.
