Bed Edging

    Looking for any tips on using a bed edger.Will be renting one to do a job for a customer.Have always done my bed edging with a flat shovel never a bed edger.Hoping to make it look nicer and get done faster.Thank you in advance

    What kind of edger is it? Ive used every type

    It is a bed scaper from home depot tool rental they say you have to walk backwards with it lol

    Well, it will definetely save a ton of time! My "walk backwards" edger was a Brown bed edger, it did a great job but it was rather big and some places we couldnt even use it because half of it would be in the bed running over plants and shrubs and it left a big mess in the flowerbeds. If you are laying new mulch after you edge its not so bad, just feather out the dirt and cover with the new mulch. I'm still trying to get use to our new Little Wonder edger. My advise...find somewhere to practice a few times before you take it on a customers property.

    It works with equipment you already have.
