Bedding sand or crushed stone?

    What is everybodys opnion on using crushed stone vs bedding sand when screeding?

    This alway's turns into an ugly debate, but I use concrete sand. Screenings just breaks down and liquifies into nothing than you get low spots. That's my take and I'm happy with the sand. Next!

    I'm proud to say that I am one of the few around here that use concrete sand.

    Using crushed stone or stone dust voids most of the manufactures warranties. We ONLY use sand.

    It really shouldn't.

    Concrete sand, never screenings.
