I was once told to use cigarette tabacco on a hornet sting. When I heard that I was doubtful that it would really work. Well, I got stung today and grabbed one of my smokes and ripped the tip off. Then poured a drop of water on it an stuck it right on the sting. Pain was gone in about minute or two, and no pain still. However, it did nothing for the welt. So, go grab yourself a pack of Marlboros for your first aid kit. It really does work.
