I've searched the forums and could not find an answer to my simple question - so here goes.

My deck belt broke on my 48" cub (150 hours) and I am replacing it tonight. Are one of the pulleys a "tension pulley" which I can hinge with a socket to get the belt on? Again, simple question which will probably be answered when I get into it - I thought I'd just ask the pros for any advise beforehand.

    Thanks for any thoughts,

Just roll it on by hand. By the way do you have the two belt blade system. If not you better get with dealer and see if you can buy the upgrade or you will be buying belts out the wasu.

Scag probably has an online parts/owners manual.:waving:

THe idler arm has a square hole machined into it that a 1/2" extension fits into to take the tension off
