    its nice......but, why doesn't the step continue 6 more feet to the sidewalk?

    The flair of the sidewalk is around nine inches, that flair was for looks as bringing it in straight would of detracted from the curve of the steps into the yard that were needed due to drainage and small children. The actual step is 8" .

    Thanks for the compliments guys, the boys do amazing work and progress on the front is continuing as we speak. The stone used was a Lilac Bluestone and the steps were the same but thermal blistered and cut on site. The facebook page has more pics and some info about the site itself.

    I love the work as well but the step leading up to the lawn and no step leading to the walkway is confusing.

    I was looking at the pictures fri night thinking "it's so simple and so many guys butcher a design trying to get fancy".

    Well, just now I accidentally hit the link to your blog about the job and you mentioned "simplicity"! (I seldom click links, look at videos, etc.)

    That's funny! I was thinking about how many get carried away and here you had written the same thing!
