any info would be greatly appreciated.
The Gravely Compact Pro 34 is a solid machine.
Completely satisfied with my Exmark Phazer 34.
why not a grandstand?
Without knowing where you are at and grass types thats hard to say. Will this be a primary or secondary machine and how many hours of use per week. Also how much cash do you have to sped on it. If I were to be out buying and needed a small gate mower I would look at the Wright stand ons or Scag stand ons, or an Exmark 36"TThp. I would try to stay away from a sit down ZTR that small.
One with a blade would be my first choice.
Does a Wright or Scag stand on come in a 34 or 36 inch width?
They both have one.
Exmark Phazer best 34'' rider hands down.. Ive used dixon, gravely, hustler mini z,and encore 34's
its lighter, it has a longer frame which is good if ur 6' or taller you can
move the seat back and ur legs wont pass the front of the mower plus the
deck is more in front, so you don't have to lean to the side to see the deck
trim side when mower around obstacles ,plus the 19hp kawi can chew some
tall grass,.. Thats my opinion
I have not been able to locate a Phazer to look at. I have seen a Yazoo which has a longer frame and sits very comfortably. Anybody have any experience with the Yazoo.
