Looking at getting back into maintenance. Don't know about a ZTR, but read a good review on a 60" Exmark. They were **** mowers back in the late 80's when Scag was King.

I don't see a need for a 14m.p.h. mower, however, when I was last mowing everything was bagged and dumped into an F-350 rack-dump.

14 horsepower was enough for 48" cut, no problem; then again, it wasn't mulching.

How are the Gravely's and Toro 60" mowers? Do they mulch well, and what kind of problems are there for mulching?

How is the scalping situation and does anyone other than Great Dane make a "wing mower" that folds part of its deck to fit through gates?

    Thanks!

P.S. : Who makes good engines these days? How much horse is needed? Is diesel available?
