Just wondering from anyone's experience who makes the best 3/4 ton truck from the early 2000s since that is what is in my price range right now. Ford, chevy or dodge, gas or diesel, gas mileage, towing capacity, transmissions etc, if anyone has an opinion or good/bad experiences it would be much appreciated.

Dodges, atleast the gas ones are usually cheaper than other brands. Cummins is another story as people want and arm and a leg for them. I have a 2001 gas GMC(chevy) 2500HD and couldnt be happier with it. Duramax's are even nicer but pricey. I got mine for $6500 3 years ago and that was the cheapest I could find
