I have several Douglas and Fraiser trees that need to be fertilized. About 8' in height. All on heavy slopes with possible rain run off being high.

What would be the best fertilizer to use? Ganular, stakes, injection? The easier the better for me. These trees have been planted this yr back in June.

The easiest way , imo , would be Jobes tree spikes , formulated for evergreens.

A handful of triple 10 around each one works well. Especially in the spring and again in fall.

18-18-8 at the base of the tree. Slow release.
