just put down heritage and water it in. That's it. No more discussion. If the color doesn't change in two weeks then put it down again and voila.

Lawns with disease have a strong orange color. When the fungus is gone, the dead grass will turn tan color until it regrows.

Sometimes their will be yellowing . Symptoms vary between grass type and the fungus type. With brown patch the frog eye patches would begin to show some color return to the out rings but with pythium blight the affected grass would die on out. Color is a term used very loosely and there are much better ways to identify if the fungus is cured or not.

What's wrong with seeing a golden color or an orange color and then when it turns to tan assuming the fungus is gone?

Im guessing you mean color patterns such as patches/ spots ? Around here as dry as its been fungus is almost non existent except for the people who run there irrigation in the afternoon and those yrds have plenty.

Yeah when I see lawns that are all bermuda, I either see dead spots which are tan or golden/orange spots. I played gold today and many of the tee boxes had the golden coloring and it looked like the fungus had spread quickly knowing how fast golf courses attend to their turf. I'm just south in ATL and it's been dry but dollar spot in fungus is as common as high gas prices when it's 95 degrees out. Almost every lawn that's bermuda get's affected by dollar spot at some point. I keep my tree shrub mix in my tank (cross check and t storm) to spot spray fungus when I see it.

Heritage is great but take the jump and go to Headway. Same as Heritage but with the added plus of Propiconazole. That will include Dollar Spot control something Heritage cannot touch. Daconil is a great contact fast acting unfortunately cannot be used on residential properties.

Why does your lawn get brown patch every year? Look at your cultural practices.
