I thought "Slick 50" was for oil. Do they also make a grease?
I use the red high temp grease they sell at Fleet Farm.

I bought a tube at Wal Mart the other day...the specs look good on it, but I'm wondering if using it will void any warranties.

A mistake that I have learned is don't combine greases.

I use the Chevron Red "sticky" grease - about $2.80 per tube at your amoco jobber, but well worth it.

I use SCHAEFFER grease #274 for everything, all of the big equipment operators and farmers around here use it and when I talked to them about which grease is the best to use, most everyone of them said (schaeffer) was by far the best to use good temp range and repels water.

Royal Purple here. Has a VERY high sheer number. I believe that is what it is called. It is the ability of the grease to adhere to a suface under pressure......
