Hey what would be a good mower to get for about $3000? I was looking at the Quick 36 mowers. Can I get any input on good mower that is larger than 21" but would stii fit betwenn gates.

    Thanks

Why the 36" Stander, what makes it better than anything else?

I picked up a 36 gravely pro-steer about 2 weeks ago. Lists for 2999, dealer sold it to me for 2200. Only have about 10 hours on it, but so far I like it.

stander more compact. makes easier work of mowing then walkbehinds. reliable machines.

The one we just bought cost a lot more than $3K. Consider a 36" belt drive Scag, it should be close to your price. The Lesco belt drive one would also be in the price range and maybe you could get a Lesco hydro for that amount

just seen a lesco 48" fixed deck belt jobbie at my local lesco house today for 2699.00 i think. looked like nice mower, the only reason i looked at it, was because my local honda dealer has the same one, used from trade, for 12 bills out the door. he said it was around a 99 or 2000 model, super clean and minimal hours, fresh service and new trannie.

You can get a lesco 48" gear drive walkbehind for $2,600 or a lesco hydro walkbehind 36" for $3,600
