best mower for guater acre lot

    what is the best mower for a guater acre lot ?

    1/4 of an acre? up here in the big sky country that would be a trim job.

    It depends on how many you have to do and the results you're looking for.

    If you're doing just your own lot then a 36" will work fine.

    If you're doing a lot of lots with an emphasis on production then a 60" will do.

    If you're doing a lot of lots but are more detail oriented, like as in you want nice stripes, then a 48/52 would be my choice.

    I would go with a 48 to 52'' wb for that. a 36'' is too small and a 60 '' is too large.

    I do mostly that size and my 52 lazer works great, and i have a 32 toro for the gated yards.

    Hey burger, i guess you found this site from tractor point. Did you get that deck fixed on yor new 2230.

    I would go with a 32" belt drive.

    they are gated i am looking at a turf tracer hp 36exmark

    48" to 52", heck I use my 48" for a small 4,800sq ft lawn that I do
