Best shocks for my truck?????????????????//

    Ok, so I have a 1997 gmc 2500 (pic below) and I need new shocks, I dont know which shocks would be good ones to get, any suggestions, I want a good ride but they also need to handle the trailer.:confused:

    Bilstine 5150. Not cheap, but they are the best Ive ever used to date.

    arent those for lifted trucks though?????, eventho i might get a leveling kit.

    Shock wont help you carry a load they just keep the truck from being springy if that makes any sense. Any brand will do don't waste your money.

    unkownfl is right, shocks control frequency of movement, not ride height. If you want to level the front end, there are many different brands that wil do this. I have Procomp with spacers on my superduty, they ride very harsh. i have Rancho Quicklifts on my Tacoma, that rides very compfortably and is adjustable. plan you purchase a head of time.
