I might skip the Pre M and do a liquid. Could come back to bite me in the @$$, but I think the Pre M might also be Pre M-ing the turf. I'm thinking iron Tri-mec and maybe Primo Max any suggestions?

    Primo maxx is VERY EXPENSIVE!
Are you sure thats what you want?
Pre-m may cause some root pruning (If that is your concern), but unless you are dealing with some high quality and totally properly maintained turf that you see all the time, I'd go with some sort of a pre-emergent for crabgrass.

Otherwise at some point you will end up dealing with it after the fact.

Do a search. I'm sure crabgrass has been talked about many times.

I just noticed you started another thread on to pre-m or not.

    There is outstanding info there.

Proper mowing and other cultural practices will help with crabgrass.
Then just treating edges as needed may be an option.
