used machines apply, if the average used price is 3k or under w/ 300hrs or less.
you can get a new machene for under $3000 if its a fixed deck belt drive. Exmark, Toro and Bob-Cat all make good machenes.
The new Toro WB's have a 7 gauge deck. Also look hard at Wright, they are nice machines that are built well and have a great warranty.
I have a 50 in Gravely belt drive, I bought about 5 yrs ago for around $2200. It not a hydro but it does a good job,I just use it for my yard. it may be better to buy somthing like this new insted of buying a used hydro unless you know they guy selling it to you and it has low hours.
My toro 30197 is 3k new.
I would look for a 48" hydro with a 17hp, this size mower does good on the lawns we mow in this area (sw va) and are pretty common to find used for under 3k.
I use gravely 17 hp kawasaki hydros in 48" .
I would definetely go with a hydro, what ever you chose. deere, gravely, toro or exmark, there all good mowers.
New your looking at about $4800
My lesco was $2400 brand new
Thank you all.
Your in S.W. Virginia, I'd get the Quick 36!
This mower is new to me? Why do you give the nod toward this mower? Looks nice, for a good price.
