When do you think is the best week?

Because we all live in different climates I will use the first mowing week as the base.

    3 weeks before first mowing
    2 weeks before first mowing
    1 week before first mowing
    Week of first mowing
    Week after first mowing
    2 weeks after first mowing

I voted 2 weeks before first mow because that is what I have always done, but I have been told the best time to market is when your customers have need.

I would think that they wont have need until the grass needs to be cut right?\

it sucks because you need pre-m put out early but customers dont get it. so by the time they sign up pre-m has passed and your chasing weeds. so prob first week of mowing but i wish it was a month before mowing

Its a tough decision to make, because if you are trying to market to customers that already have a lawn service then you want to get your ads out as early as possible.

I know I send out my renewal letters about 6-7 weeks before first mow and require them to be returned within 2-3 weeks, so most lawns are already locked up by the time I send out my marketing materials.

UGGGHHH ! Our window to pick up new lawns is so small if you are off by a week or two it could make a huge difference in your response rates.

Do some the entire window plus some on either end.
