I know there's been a lot more discussion on the Quick 36 lately and I've searched all the threads on it already, but I was hoping someone who owns one of these could tell me exactly how wide this mower is not including any part of the discharge chute. On their website it is listed at 39.5" wide with the chute up, 39.0" with the mulch plate on. I think I read in another thread that someone measured it at 38", but I can't locate that thread again. I was just wondering, why the extra 2-3 inches of deck width on a 36" cut? My Exmark TTHP36 measures about 36.5" with the mulch plate on and I barely squeeze through a handful of gates and I'm sure it doesn't clear half the gates by more than 2 inches. If this Quick 36 works just as many of you say it does, I think it would be worth giving it a shot with all my small gated lawns, but I don't think I would take the chance on it if I can't get it into many of my back yards. I think there would be a huge market for this mower in my region but Better Outdoors would need to shave a bit off the deck.
