I am bidding on a 20 acre soccer complex. 26 weeks of mowing. They also want a bid for aeration and a fertilization program. I haven't ever bid on anything this large, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot !

That's a good size job. Do they fertigate or do they expect you to braodcast or sparay all the fert apps? Is it clay base soil or sand? Will you hydro ject aerate or core, or shatter-tine? What are going to use to mow, just drag reels or a fairway mower or triplex greens mower? How often do they want you to mow? What type of grass? Will you have to do sod repairs? Give as much info as possible.

based on the number you gave without looking at it:
5 apps (what we do here) generally 200/acre wil discount for multiple acerage to 180/acre= $3600 per treatment. 5 apps= $18000 yearly this include fert pre-emerge and post emerge
20 acres of mowing no trimming or edging (assumming) 85/acre = 1700 per cut 26 weeks $44200 for mowing.
20 acres of aerating at 150 per acre = 3000 per time we usually aerate 2x per year so that said 6000 for aeration

    fert 18000
    mowing 44200
    aeration 6000
    TOTAL $68200 with a 5% discount on net 15; 0% on net 30
also i offer a 5% discount if paid in full but i doubt someone would pay that in full...

based on the number you gave and how i price things thats what i come up with grantite it could be a lil more or a lil less if i seen the place and knew EXACTLY what they were looking for. hope this helps ya out some.

I will be mowing with (2) 60 inch choppers. I was only going to aerate once in the fall (not sure if that's enough). Was going to do a 6 step program= (2) pre m, (3) fertilize, (1) winterize ( hope this does the job) don't want to use insecticide because kids will be playing here. Grateful for any input you guys can give me.

Sports fields very intense traffic, lots of compaction. If you're on clay soil you'll need to aerate more often. If you can fert. through the irrigation system it would be a lot less labor intensive. 70k a year seems about right. If you can avoid it, don't let them play on a wet field. Is it a strong grass like Bermuda? Is it hybridized?
