One of my clients has mulch beds all around his house. The weeds are very bad in them and he had me spray them. Also he know wants me to rake the mulch out of the bed, lay down fabric, and then rake the mulch back and pull all the weeds. My question is how much would you charge for this. There is about 1100 sq. feet of mulch bed. Also how much would you charge if you were being paid by the hour. This is my first time doing this so I don't want to price to high but I also don't want to lowball. Thank you for the help

I charge approx $40/$50 hour when doing mulching, etc. I would spray the weeds rather than pulling them out. You also have to consider the costs of disposing of the landscape material. So . . .
    Labor per/hour $40/50
Dump fee - around here it is about $45 for the dump alone. + gas = $60

    Hours x $50 + Dump fees = Total

Without seeing pics I can only guess how long it would take.
