This is sad..........but read it anyway.....Everyone in the midwest knows about the southward march and destruction of the Emerald Ash Borer and the millions upon millions of ash trees that are in it's path in Canada, MI, WI, IN, IL, PA, and OH. Although there has been some talk of importing some parasite insect to attack EAB from China, in Ohio recently, the ODNR has recently thrown up it's collective arms and has told local municipalities that they must go ahead and cut down all of their ashes in (an apparent desperate) attempt to slow the EAB down. We'll, here in a southern Ohio township that I'll keep nameless, somebody REAL important must have REALLY screwed off during the part of the class when they were describing to everyone" What an Ash Leaf Looks Like '', because this morning, lying in the thoroughfare of some intersections just outside of the city limits were SOME OF THE PRETTIEST 4" HICKORIES YOU COULD EVER LAY YOUR EYES ON! :hammerhead:
