Same here ,
green 60 gal Bought at Home Depot for $40
Mike- They are made by a company here on LI. I looked on the bottom of mine, it says "Original Carry Barrel, West Babylon, NY". Maybe you can contact them directly. They are sold everywhere here, I think they are $35-$40. We use them constantly, they generally only last a season or two.
I actually shipped two of them out to a friend of mine in Denver, it was a pita and very expensive, but I did it. Mike
OH man BAGS!! What are those again? You mean like what you get your groceries in? heh.
Picked one up today from Lesco $52.00 with tax. Lowes didn't have them and I didn't check Home Depot, I just happened to be at Lesco and there they were. AL inc was right they're made in "Lawn Guy Land"
My thoughts exactly. Work smarter, not harder. Bags are for homeowners.
How do you guys lift those huge green cans! I use 45 gal Rubbermaids w/wheels, and sometimes herniate myself getting those lifted when full!
Been lifting them for over 20 years now, just gotta be careful about how full they are, if the grass is wet then you either don't fill it or get help lifting. If I'm using it to move mulch I only fill it about 2/3 full but with leaves or dry grass I can carry it full.
Do you guys dump these into bags or your trailer?
